The Vehicle Marketing Specialist is a unique position that blends photography and customer service at automotive dealerships that have contracted with AutoUpLink USA for marketing content creation services. You will visit assigned, client sites multiple times per week to photograph vehicles to create content that our customers use to advertise vehicles to shoppers.

With continued growth in your area, we have found the need to locate someone who can deliver on-the-lot services part-time to contracted clients. At inception this role is a part-time position that will require 10 - 20 hours each week, but the position may be able to expand to a full-time role in the future.

The successful candidate will have the ability to grow and take on more responsibility based on your performance. The ideal candidate will have 2 - 3 years of photography knowledge and a working knowledge of automotive retail vehicle prep and listings online; however, all candidates with relevant skills and "mojo" will be considered!

EARNING POTENTIAL

You will be paid as a 1099 Contractor. The compensation plan for this critical role includes:

  • Commission Based - (a % of your billing generated from vehicle photography), with weekly minimum guarantee. Earnings average $15-25 + per hour.
  • Mileage reimbursement to travel to and from job sites

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Visit client dealership locations on scheduled week days to photograph vehicles
  • Photograph vehicles at client sites using a company-provided camera
  • Capture video of vehicles (participating accounts)
  • Identify vehicles to be serviced using the company's mobile app on a company-provided mobile device
  • Print window labels (i.e. window stickers and Buyer's Guides) and apply them to vehicles
  • Interact with dealership personnel during visits to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Communicate with your supervisor in person, by phone, text and email regularly about work performance and client satisfaction
  • Synchronize (i.e. upload) the captured photos or video clips to company's cloud environment using company software

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with digital cameras and with indoor and outdoor photography;
  • Self motivated with the ability to work independently;
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills;
  • A good driving record, valid driver license and appropriate levels of vehicle insurance;
  • Minimum education of a High School diploma;
  • Stout communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills;
  • Comfortable using computers and technology;

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of photography and working with digital cameras
  • Experience troubleshooting issues and solving problems independently
  • Familiarity with the automotive retail industry
  • Team player with high energy and excellent personality
