It is AutoUpLink Tech‘s policy that personal information, such as your name, postal and e-mail address or telephone number, is private and confidential. AutoUpLink Technologies, Inc. is not responsible for the privacy practices or policies of participant companies in its various programs or of companies available by hyperlink from any AutoUpLink Tech maintained Web sites or applications. It may be necessary, if required by law or if pertinent to judicial or governmental investigations, to release your personally identifiable information.
No Computer Tracking of Identifiable Information
AutoUpLink Tech‘s computers and servers are not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information about its visitors. It does recognize the home server of visitors, but not e-mail addresses. For example, AutoUpLink Tech an tell which Internet Service Provider our visitors use, but the names, addresses or any other information about our visitors to AutoUpLink Tech sites is never requested or captured. Web log information
Web log information is automatically gathered every time you visit our Web site by the computer that hosts our Web site (called a “Web server”.) The Web server automatically recognizes non-personal information such as the date and time you visited our site, the pages you visited and the type of browser you are using (e.g., Internet Explorer). This data is retained for 60 days and is only reviewed by system administrators responsible for monitoring and maintenance of the Web server. These aggregated statistics are used internally to better provide services to the public and may also be provided to others, but again, the statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.
Information gathered is stored in a proprietary database that can only be accessed using a password-protected system. Each client will receive a distinctive password in order to view the results. It is up to the client to keep that password safeguarded. The password may be changed at the client’s written request.
